The Fire District Foundation of L.A. County was founded to further the mission of the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County (also known as the Los Angeles County Fire Department) to protect lives, the environment, and property by providing prompt, skillful, and cost-effective fire protection and life safety.

Our Foundation
The Fire District Protects L.A. County. We Support the Fire District.
The Fire District Foundation of L.A. County is committed to enhancing the capabilities of the men and women who serve L.A. County. We help bridge the gap between public funding and real-world needs. Every dollar raised will help the L.A. County Fire Department purchase critical lifesaving equipment, fund special community programs, provide training, development, and wellness programs, and enhance facilities. The Foundation is committed to transparency and will act in good faith, and in the best interests of donors, the the community, and the Fire Department to further the Department’s mission and objectives.
Special Equipment & Facilities
Funding critical equipment and infrastructure needs beyond budget allocations including specialized vehicles, advanced technology tools, personal protective equipment, and facilities enhancements.
Training, Development & Wellness
Investing in career pathways, professional development, and wellness programs for Fire Department personnel to ensure they are equipped with the skills and support needed to excel in their roles.
Community Engagement
Supporting emergency response programs, community awareness, and preparedness programs.
